What’s the first step?
The class I was teaching had ended a few minutes earlier and she quietly approached me. She thanked me for taking a few minutes to speak with her.
She explained that she was starting over in her career and she was not sure what to do first.
She was pivoting from an office manager position to selling real estate.
“How do I pick up clients if I have no experience in real estate?”, she asked.
The basic underlying question she was asking was ‘how do I market myself?’
The first step.
Be seen.

If people don’t know you exist or what it is you do, then no one can hire you, buy from you, refer you or work with you.
A person has to first ‘be seen’ in order to move the needle in their career.
How?
Show up at that event.
Tell people what you do.
Tell people how they can work with you.
Start posting on Linkedin and/or Instagram.
Like, comment and share other people’s post.
Search out where your ideal clients would be both in person and virtually.
Show up every single day on line whether you feel like it or not.
Be seen. That’s your first step.
